Hi and welcome to Liverpool Equestrian Club
Liverpool Equestrian Club was founded many years ago as a non profit making organisation to promote and encourage horse riding to all, the club provides a friendly, yet competitive atmosphere and gives our members a chance to enjoy themselves and something to strive for throughout the season with their horses or ponies. Members with the highest points from 1st - 5th place in each of the classes are awarded Trophies and Rosettes (which are of the highest standard) at our Presentation Dance in November
We hold 7 shows(weather permitting) from April - October and with 7 rings inc Show Jumping, Equitation, In Hand, Ridden Showing, Working Hunter, Dressage and Novelty classes, we have something for everyone, from Novice to Experienced. With Qualifiers held every month for Championships.
Pre-Booking forms can be printed off from our web site or if you're a member you can just fill in the email form on the web site. If you choose to use the E mail forms for your membership and to pre-book your classes, you pay for both on the show day when you collect your back number from the office. Non members may use the E mail forms but must contact & confirm this by phone or email to Dot before submitting the forms. Don't forget Pre-Booking your classes before the show day not only saves you money, but also saves you time and stress from queuing on the morning of the show.
This year we will be holding our Riding Club Team’s Challenge again, so come on everyone, 4 members to a team, each team members points are added up throughout the season and awards are made at the presentation, if anyone would like to join a team but are unsure who to team up with, give your name in at the office and we’ll help team you up.You should also start thinking now about your costumes for the Fancy Dress and Concour D’Elegance (you don’t want to be left out)
Schedules and the Walk & Trot Dressage test can also be printed off. Please keep checking the web site for information and new additions.
As always we are in need of help before the shows, putting the jumps out and on show days putting the jumps to the side of the ring (more hands make lighter work), also on show days stewarding etc. Please help if you can. If you could let me know a.s.a.p. that would be great.
A new addition for this year is that we now have a show ground farrier, his name is Samuel Rice Dip WCF, so any problems you may have, he will be there to sort them out for you.
